A Game Used Helmet - in our opinion, the best football collectible you can get. While a player can wear several jerseys over the length of a season, in most cases a player only wears one helmet. Years ago, and still today, often times that player will wear the same helmet for multiple seasons, making the helmet even more desirable. In addition, with today's liability concerns, many teams no longer offer their old helmets to the public. Then comes the task of trying to display the collectible. While jerseys take up large areas of wall space or hang neatly in an out of the way closet, a helmet takes up less room and can sit proud on a shelf, desk, table, or bar. We have been collecting helmets for years - as well as authenticating helmets for collectors, dealers, and auction houses. We will not purchase or obtain a helmet unless we are 100% positive that the helmet is truly game worn by the player it represents. If the helmet has a players name in the title, then that helmet was worn by that player. Often times helmets can not be attributed to a player. If that is the case, no name will be stated. Don't be fooled by people offering old high school helmets that have been painted, re-decaled, and transformed it into an NFL "Game Used" helmet. With our Game Used helmets, we try to "photo match" each and every one. Many times a photo-match is not possible but we will go out of our way to attempt to authenticate each and every one ourselves, along with any third party authenticators. On higher ticket helmets, we ask that you contact us before ordering. All helmets are authenticated through RSA, as well as any third party authenticators. All helmets come with any and all paperwork from these authenticators.
