1996 University of Wisconsin Stevens Point Game Used Helmet. Where have you seen one for sale? Need we say more? All components of this helmet are original, used at UWSP, and consistent with their game helmets.
Riddell VSR1 model helmet, painted pro gloss GB Gold, in a size Large. The helmet comes complete with a Riddell black ROPO-DW facemask. The mask is attached to the helmet with Riddell clips on the top and sides. Black phillips screws are used to secure the mask. The chinstrap is an Adams Pro 100 low mount configuration, purple cup, dated 1993. Adams metal buckles hold the chinstrap to the helmet in both low positions.
The decals of the helmet remain intact with no lifting from the helmet. They are scuffed, show light use, and have some dirt beneath the clear boarders. The center stripes are three individual stripes - as preferred by the UWSP equipment staff on all of their helmets. The stripes are trimmed to length at the rear of the helmet, beneath the rear bumper. Decals on the rear of the helmet include: Authentic team "vintage" warning label, NCAA Shield, Riddell decal, and #80 player identifier.
The inside of the helmet is in good condition with light wear, dirt and mold remains. The facemask is clean, new condition, with very little in the sign of scuffs and scrapes. This helmet displays very well.
